The NT555RII is formulated with a race optimized compound that ensures excellent dry grip as well as enhanced launching traction. This compound forms into a directional tread pattern furnished with wide, circumferential grooves that bolster wet performance. A set of dual center ribs maintain consistent rubber to road contact during dry settings. This tire features an enhanced sidewall construction process that is modified for enhanced launch performance of up to 60 times in comparison to the NT05R. The NT555RII is designed for optimal use on the drive axle to complement Nitto's NT5555G2 on the non-drive axle.
