The Ecsta PS31 is engineered with a technologically optimized summer compound with High Dispersible Micro Silica and High Grip Resin. The silica enhancements enable more consistent rubber to road contact while the resin compound amplifies traction and gripping capabilities. The innovative compound forms into a directional tread pattern with lateral grooves and a continuous center rib to bolster stability and braking performance. This tire employs a 3-D dimple design that reduces heat buildup in the tread blocks, which in turn, extends tread life. An array of four circumferential grooves are paired with lateral groove angles to bolster wet traction. Internally, the Ecsta PS31 is reinforced with a two-ply polyester casing and dual steel belts with nylon cap plies to combat impacts, improve handling and durability.
